We were delighted to work with The Projects, Brighton’s newest co-working members club, serviced offices and event space. Their design and brand values are inspired by the famous starling murmarations that can be seen from Brighton in autumn and winter; the way the starlings communicate and work together is how they see their membership offering, and their ethos is ‘beautiful things happen when we work together.’
They wanted a launch party that would reflect these elements and get people talking, so the Great Little Events Company proposed a live art piece, to be created during the event, based on the contributions of the guests. We commissioned an art duo who specialise in live event art to illustrate a huge canvas with the starling murmurations, incorporating words that the guests supplied on how they feel about living and working in Brighton. By the end of the evening, a beautiful piece of permanent art had been created by everyone at the launch working together. This was not only a talking point, and widely shared on social media, but also reflected the brand positioning as a creative hub for the city. Watch the video of the live event art piece below.
On top of that, we arranged for an ever-changing flavour Willy Wonka-style ice-cream installation, to give sweet treats to the guests, and Brighton Gin were on hand to supply bespoke cocktails. This was part of a carefully crafted guest journey to ensure that attendees visited every area of the space.
We organised canapes, drinks, photographer, goody bags, signage and staff briefings throughout. We also provided and liaised with all trusted suppliers to create an exciting, fun, unique and innovative event that created a real buzz in Brighton and helped spread the word of the Projects to local influencers and potential members.
