Futrli Team-Building Day
We were approached by Brighton-based tech company Futrli to put together a team-building day to bring together their 60 staff, many of whom were new and scattered across different offices, as well as to celebrate some significant investment. With only two weeks notice, we had to work fast and call on our trusted suppliers to pull together an amazing day. We suggested an ‘embrace the change’ and discovery theme, to reflect the doubling of staff in the past year, and motivate everyone to continue their hard work.
We needed to ensure that the team-building activities reflected the company values and were fun, creative and inclusive for everyone who attended, so we booked in a local VR supplier to run team-building activities through VR headsets, which was appealing for all the staff, reflected the tech feel and meant that members of teams who didn't know each other worked together towards a common goal.
We then arranged for a MasterChef quarter-finalist caterer to design a ‘discovery’ themed Middle Eastern menu, before breaking out the drinks that we had ordered to start the afternoon off in style! The fun continued with a pub quiz, with a personalised Futrli round, where all participants were divided into teams of people they didn’t usually work with, therefore building bridges and bonds with new colleagues. A delivery of branded Futrli doughnuts and gifts of personalised Futrli rock rounded off the day in sugary style.
The Great Little Events Company took care of every element of the day, including all booking and liaising with suppliers and venue, keeping the client abreast of the budget spending and attending on the day to ensure smooth running of all the elements of the event. The client was delighted with the outcome and had this to say about the service they received…
